Swim Lessons in North Hollywood & the Valley

Year-round private swim lessons for every age and ability — infants, beginners, adults, and competitive swimmers. Every lesson is built around the swimmer, not a level chart.

Lessons for All Ages & Abilities

Private instruction for infants through adults, including adaptive lessons for swimmers with disabilities.

Donation-Funded Lessons

Your support provides lessons for families who couldn't otherwise afford them.

Water Safety First

Safety education is built into every lesson, for swimmers and parents alike.

The STRIDE Method

No levels, no time limits — instruction shaped to each swimmer.

Why STRIDE Aquatics?

Here's what a STRIDE lesson actually looks like.

Through Music & Play

Music boosts memory — and makes lessons fun. We weave songs and guided play into every lesson, and give each swimmer a degree of control over how the lesson flows. Kids don't realize they're learning, because they're too busy having fun.

Customizable Lessons

Every swimmer is evaluated on day one to find their starting point — no preset curriculum, no level chart. Choose private lessons, back-to-back multi-student lessons with friends or siblings, or a mix of both.

Start Where You Are

No time limits on mastering a skill, and no pressure to keep up with a group. Whether it's a first float or refining a butterfly stroke, swimmers move at the pace that works for them.

Adaptive Instruction

Swimmers with disabilities or special needs don't get a modified afterthought — every STRIDE lesson is already built around the individual. Our instructors adapt pace, communication, and technique to each swimmer.

Why We Are Trusted

Children Can Drown in Just 3 Inches of Water

Our swim lessons are designed to maximize the ability of the child and to help him/her explore their full potential. Children can drown in just 3 inches of water, which is why it is imperative they understand the dangers of the water and learn how to overcome them.
