Swim lessons built around you, not a level chart.
Every swimmer is different, so every lesson is too. We evaluate each new swimmer on day one and start exactly where they are, whether that is a first float or a stronger stroke. Lessons are private and one-on-one, year-round, in our heated outdoor pool in North Hollywood.

Types Of Swim Lessons With Stride Aquatics
Little Swimmers
It starts with comfort and safety: getting used to the water, learning to float on their back, and building the instincts that matter most. Play-based and paced to the child.
Kids & Teens
Whether your child is brand new or already swimming, we build on what they can do, from water safety and basic strokes to confident, independent swimming.
Adults
It is never too late. Many of our adult swimmers arrive having never felt safe in the water. Lessons are 30 minutes, taught at your pace, until the water feels like yours.
Advanced Stroke Work
For swimmers already comfortable in the water who want to refine technique across all four strokes.
Bring a friend
Learn together, save together.
You don't need multiple kids in one family to save. Invite friends, siblings, or neighbors and combine lessons. We only require two or more swimmers per session.
How we teach
The STRIDE Method.
Music boosts memory and makes lessons fun, so we weave songs and guided play into every lesson and give each swimmer a degree of control over how it flows. Kids learn faster because they are playing, and the learning sticks.
Where we teach
North Hollywood & the Valley.
Lessons are taught in our heated outdoor pool in North Hollywood, kept between 85 and 90 degrees year-round.
Swimming should be for everyone.
STRIDE Aquatics is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Through our Adopt a Child program, donors fund three months of lessons that bring a child from our low-income waiting list to fully water-safe. 100% of every Adopt a Child gift goes straight to that child's lessons.
